After one listen, Shield Wall is the catchiest song. I did an Amon Amarth binge earlier in the year and it was a good reminder of how awesome some of the early albums are. The last really good one was Twilight of the Thunder God.
Surtur Rising (2011) is amazing, Deceiver of the Gods (2013) is really good, too. Jomsviking (2016) is one of my favorite albums by them. I'm a sucker for concept albums and the last few tracks are epic. Doro is even on one! Berserker, though.... seems kinda hollow. :\
^ I remember when that album came out. I think they opened for Evile when I saw them the first time. I never did get into that band aside from the random listen to a single now and then. There Stood the Fence is the best song on this album, in my opinion.
Got to agree with you on that one ^, though there's a few brilliant tracks on that classic... New Possessed is fucking good eh.
Loving this album! Best song title is a dead heat between Legendary Enchanted Jetpack and Power of the Laser Dragon Fire.
Not sure how they did it, but the song Where few dare to Walk sounds both like a Metallica and a Megadeth song.
Its another solid album along the same lines as everything they released since Ironbound. Gave this a listen yesterday and while it was a good listen not sure it is memorable enough to buy and add to the collection:
Please excuse the fucking massive picture... Fans of Power Trip and getting wasted and breaking your neck check this out.
