LEPROUS – Present final line-up and dates for European headlining tour in October 2012!

LEPROUS, the much acclaimed prog metal newcomer-sensations from Norway,
are still nowhere near to be taking a real rest from promoting their current album “Bilateral”,
which was released worldwide last August via InsideOutMusic.

After a highly successful 41 dates all across Europe supporting Amorphis as well as dates
in Japan together with Ihsahn and The Haunted, LEPROUS have announced
a full headlining run of Europe for October 2012, where the band will finally
be performing their full live-set for their enthusiastic followers.

LEPROUS will be joined on this special tour, much suitably dubbed “European Progressive Assault”,
by Sweden’s Loch Vostok (www.lochvostok.com), recent addition Persefone from Andorra (www.persefone.com) and Norway’s Ørkenkjøtt (www.facebook.com/orkenkjott).

LEPROUS have checked in to comment on the tour as follows:
"We’re really looking forward to hit the European road as headliners in October, and now that we’re starting to see all those familiar places the ‘European Progressive Assault’ will take us to, we can also start planning what to play for you guys this time around. Hope you’re interested in getting a little taste of our next album,
which is also beginning to take form these days."

The promotional video clip for the song “Restless” off the band’s acclaimed “Bilateral”
    album can be seen here:

A free InsideOutMusic digital sampler including the LEPROUS song “Thorn” (which features a guest
vocal appearance of former Emperor frontman Ihsahn) can be downloaded here:

"Bilateral" was skillfully mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren at the Fascination Street studio
(Opeth, Devin Townsend, Symphony X, etc.).
The album features cover artwork by the Surrealist Jeff Jordan (www.jeffjordanart.com),
who has also worked for The Mars Volta and many more.

    Good for them.

Now hopefully they'll make tons of money and play some shows where I can actually see them :p

glad to see the band doing so well! They had truly one of the most memorable sets at PPUSA to me that I have seen since I started coming at PP4

Just another reason that I want to move to Europe. A tour package like this will never tour the US.

Since this tour package is so brilliant we just might have to fly to Amsterdam and do a little NL tour to see these two last shows, hopefully it'll work out :D

Managed to catch the Leprous+Ihsahn 75min set at Graspop 2 weeks ago. Brilliant show by the boys, once again! It was really, really cool to see Ihsahn live again as well. Surely wanting to see Ihsahn do a proper headlining club show too, especially since the new album is so sweet (at Graspop there was only two new songs played).

Flights and hotel booked for going to Zoetermeer and Eindhoven, wooooooooo! Really can't wait for next month now, such a sweet package.

Hopefully Leprous plays a long set so that they get the old goodies in mixed with a few new songs, like they tend to do on tours. Hoping that Persefone will play some new stuff too - they were a really tight live band at Denmark Rock Festival last year. Also Teddy will for sure kick ass with the LV guys and Ørkenkjott should be really cool to witness live too. Finally checked out the latter last week and will be spinning their album definitely a few more times before the tour.
