    Dan's voice on this album is really good.. The songs I heard so far are awesome!! :)

    Threshold is great! :D you should check out the newest album if you're into the progressive metal genre. :headbang:

    I love progressive metal, and therefore Threshold clicked into my head as soon as I heard it. The new album is awesome. If you like it you should buy it. I can't wait for my copy.

    I don't get progressive metal. I always considered progressive metal to be like Opeth, Agalloch and Crimson I and II... But most of the stuff termed 'progressive metal' is nowhere near anything remotely vaguely like them!

    If I had to define it, I'd place Moontower into the prog metal drawer as well, whereas both Crimsons are more death IMO, and Nightingale.... ummmm simply prog?

    Threshold is not your average prog metal band though - they combine high technical skill with heaviness and soaring melodies in a way that not many others do.
    I really love Dead Reckoning, probably Threshold's strongest release to date, and Dan, well, short as his parts may be, adds a great bite to those two tracks he's on.
