Finally Vince updated saxon747.com's gallery! Very nice pics, but a shame the cover art was on the Italian Metal Hammer, otherwise I could bought it! (not that I could read it though! )
Here's one serious question though: Why is the eagle's head not lighten at Astoria?*look pic* But on this, it is!
I don't think the eagles head, or any other part of it moved at the astoria. In brussels the eagle was moving all over the place. Maybe it wasn't working properly at the astoria.
At Brussels, the Eagle had proper flying points, plenty of stage height and lots of space behind the Eagle. At the Astoria it was right up against the back wall and no possibility to make him fly like he should.
what did you think of the hall in Brussels anyway? (I know its has been some time ago but Ihavent been on for a long time )
The venue was ok Nilion, from what I remember anyway! Not sure about those balconies though - could be a bit dangerous, especially if you've had a few beers! Still, don't think anyone fell "overboard", so that's ok!
Oh by the way, yes, your absence from the Board hasn't gone unnoticed! Welcome back!! We tried the Hoegarden, by the way...it was ok! I had already tried it here in Manchester previously
Yeah thought the brussels venue was pretty good, and the sound was pretty good also. Had a great time and I will definitely go again if Saxon play there.
yeah, but the balconies can be very useful for small persons :lo: I like to go to AB, its not too big and the sound is always of a good quality thanks! and glad you liked it
Well, I am a "small person" I'm 4ft 10", but I'd still rather be on the floor than on the balcony! But yeah, I suppose the view from up there would be less inhibited by tall people!!
