I was putting together my personal "best of" for 2012 and I was thinking ahead to 2013. at the top of my list for most anticipated new albums would be Avantasia, Ayreon, and Queensryche (agree with the vocalist change or not, this is the first time since Promised Land that I'm actually excited to hear a new Ryche album!)

What albums are you looking forward to most in the new year?

Helloween, Saxon, Ayreon, Avantasia. Didn't know Volbeat was due next year as well. I feel like there's one I'm forgetting.

Is Fates really releasing a new album next year? I'm psyched if that is the case, especially if a tour will follow. One of the true prog pioneers!

My band ORCumentary is releasing a new album next spring! So I guess i'm excited for that haha. You can hear the first single "Troll Snot" at www.orcumentary.bandcamp.com

I'm also really excited for albums from Amaranthe, The Unguided, Soilwork, and Seventh Wonder. I'm not sure who else is releasing albums next year so that's all I got.
