It was incredible man. Got photos with Barlow/Schaffer (Iced Earth), Gamma Ray, Circle II Circle, Epica, Sabaton. Autographs from all the above plus Blind Guardian, Tyr, Korpikilaani. Chatted for ages with heaps of awesome band members, road crew, security, and metalheads from over the globe. Attended about 30 shows over the course of the cruise.

Simply phenomenal. If I can afford it next year, I'm there!!

I had about a dozen give me props for mine. I wish they'd all given me a buck instead. Could've bought a drink.

Cheers guys :) Had a lot of people mention the number of LORD shirts at the Sydney Soundwave. Even a few at the Brisbane one as well!

I wore my Tyrant shirt at Soundwave Adelaide, backstage when I was working.

And here's a fun drunken game. Bottlecap Stacks.
Rules are: only one bottlecap can touch the table, everyone takes a turn round the table. That's it. So much fun, the more drunk you are....the more fun it is.
Here are a couple of epic tries, if you can do better put your pics up!!

That's 25....check out the angles!!! Bottles opened with an opener give you angles, unlike twist tops.

Another view, this time....26. Have fun!!!!

Sorry about quality, we only had a phone camera!

I used to be frighteningly good at that sort of thing when I was a drinker. My hand-eye coordination is shit, but in my favour I have OCD, and the beer would really tune the outside world out for me :)

I've never done that one in your pics, but flicking them like ninja stars, catching drink mats, all those dumb games you play, I'd eventually get Olympics good at if my drinking buddies let me.

I always stay out of the game, despite the fact that it's usually played at my house. I fail at it, badly. I have no coordination and always knock the stack down before it gets past half a dozen bottle caps!

See? I let that one slide, I figured he had the drinking part down pat already!! ;)

It is a fun game though, and you're not that bad at it Louise...you just need more practice!!!
