I believe it was mixed acoustic and he used an Picollo tama snare...
Atleast that's what Dave said on the dvd...

And the kick was partly the famous pantera kick blended in, no?

Not sure about the TTAOE but a couple years ago on here I was talking about this with a few of the regulars on here and Andy said The More Things Change definitly has a Pantera kick mixed in.

The guitar tone on TMTC was the first guitar tone that totally blew me away.

The main riff on Ten Ton Hammer, goddamn! The guitar tone is huge.

Rob's legendary 5150 kills on that album! I wonder what settings he used...

Rob doesn't use that head for anything but studio, right? Shit, I wouldn't either if I had a head that rips like that one. Just goes to show that just because two heads may be exactly alike doesn't mean that their tone is.

There are definetly the exact settings Rob used somewhere on this forum, I've saw them before, Andy has posted them up before.

Anyone else notice around 2:35 of The Frontlines (Track 5 TMTC), Rob's backup vocals sound like a TIE FIGHTER from Star Wars? LOL

    Even Desire to Fire?

To put it mildly, the first time I heard that song I was disappointed.
