Almah drummer Marcelo Moreira has recently launched his project Marmor organized together with Alexei Leão, Stormental’s singer and music producer. Marmor, with its brand new album Alma Celta involves more than 20 participants (musicians, writers, artists) such as singers Gus Monsanto (Adagio, Revolution Renaissance), Cláudia Barron from Bolivia, violinist Anna Phoebe (Ian Anderson/Jethro Tull, Jon Lord/Deep Purple, Steven Tyler/Aerosmith, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) among others. The album of Marmor is one of the last records of ex-Almah guitarist Paulo Schroeber (R.I.P.).

Marmor is a multi-cultural project that combines various forms such as rock and symphonic music, opera, fantasy, theater, performance, fine arts, and animation.

Alma Celta was released in Brazil at the end of 2014 as a kit (book + CD) by Leya/Fantasy publishing house (also responsible for Brazilian release of Game Of Thrones series). Marmor’s music now is available for purchasing worldwide via CDBaby and other international digital stores.

This is pretty damn cool. I am streaming it from my iPad into my Pioneer N-50 DAC via Airplay and it actually sounds pretty darn good, considering it is just off of YouTube. Wonder if there is a lossless high-res version of this available anywhere. May have to at least get the CD.
