    I'm not! These amps are so ridiculously overlooked! So many badass old school death metal albums tracked with these (Schuldiner used one), and you can pick them up for like £100 on eBay. Nice clip Lasse!

    Yeah, sounds good. There is a 'catch' with Marshall hybrid amps. Nowadays they sell AVT, which is like a newer VS version, but it's not nearly the same. VS is significantly better. They are hard to find in my neck of the woods, because people seem to like them very much.
    Btw I think that Meshuggah were using them too at one point in their career.

    yea i'm pretty sure meshuggah rocked those in the pre-chaosphere age...before the POD and all that shit came about

    Run the fx send of the 8100 into power amp of 5150/6505 into Mesa cab if you have time.
    I would do it myself but there is a freelance engineer in my place all week.
    I can't believe I have never tried it before. Should sound killer in theory.

    I may try the 8100 into 5150 but I'm not sure I even can. I don't have a 4 ohm cab that I can use as a dummy load.
