ahh the enemies shirt... i just saw the white logo(or at least a tiny bit of it), 50/50/90 chance lol...

that jem is pretty nice, i'm not a big fan of them, but the one your friend has is a pretty metal looking guitar... usually the vai guitars look pansy as fuck to me. i also don't like the extra pricetag that goes along with them, just because vai uses them... i'd much rather have an RG, especially an RGT3120... at least for the price.

It cost him a truck load, £2400 or something including a rather sweet carry case. I've heard alot of the ibanez's but the workmanship that goes into the JEM's is second to none. I've never heard a nicer sounding guitar in my life. And i used to own a gibson voodoo, and i thought that owned everything.

the same quality can be found in the higher end RG's of the past, as well as the prestige RG's... as well as some better tone woods in the prestige's, and neck through versions(like the RGT3120 etc)... thats the only real reason i'd rather have a prestige than a jem... but i'd rather have my 88 washburn 29 fret neck through than any of them ;)

sure do hahaha... my washburn i got a few months ago with nothing but frets and tuners lol... got some locking edge trem posts put on, replaced the locking nut, put an origional edge trem on it, put a dimarzio x2n in the bridge spot, put a lace sensor light blue in the neck spot, and wired it all up... its got a fender 3 way switch and fender 250k volume pot

and dude, its hard to argue with a mahogony body/maple neck neck through ;)
