If anyone cares, we tracked it in a day.

Most stuff was tracked through API/GAP press, often with a distress or or ART comp on the way in.

Used ribbons for OHs, Heil PR30s on shells, Fat Head for distant room.
Guitars were a Tele through an Orange Rockerverb and Matamp cab, mic'd with a Fat Head and PR30.
Bass was Sansamp DI through an old Marshall valve head and Ampeg 8x10.

Vocals were a now-discontinued Kel Audio LDC being handheld.

Can't remember what model the snare was for life of me, but it was mic'd with a PR30 and tracked through a Distressor on some crazy fast release and low threshold - then being compressed further ITB with the Waves SSL comp (I think, I didn't mix it).

love the vocal sound. And those drums sound so alive. This is great. Which ribbons did you use for the OHs?

They were actually the cheap Thomann own-brand T-Bone ones, no need to be picky when they're being smashed through an ART VLA compressor haha.

Maybe, would have to ask the band/mix engineer/label etc.
