Every year, I promise that I'll be restrained in my merchandise purchases, but every year, I break that promise and spend much more than I expect to. Oscar Wilde was right when he said "I can resist anything but temptation" since that merchandise room is impossible to resist. "What the hell" was pretty much my motto of the weekend. With that being said, here's what I picked up: PPUSA XVII T-shirt DVD/CD Fates Warning: Awaken the Guardian Live (includes 2016 PPUSA performance) Seventh Wonder: Welcome to Atlanta (2014 PPUSA performance) Sonacta Arctica: Live in Finland Tarja--Act 1 Devon Townsend Project: Ziltoid Live at Albert Hall CD: Amaranthe: S/T (Special Edition) Between the Buried & Me: Coma Ecliptic Distorted Harmony: Chain Reaction Eden's Curse: S/T Revisted (Rerecording of debut album, includes bonus live DVD) Fair Warning: Talking Ain't Enough, Live in Tokyo Honeymoon Suite: The Big Prize Iced Earth: Festivals of the Wicked Lords of Black: II Mind Maze: Resolve Night Ranger: Man in Motion Orphaned Land: All is One Pain: You Only Live Twice The Poor: Round 1 & 2 Redemption: This Mortal Coil (Special Edition) Seven Spires: Solveig Serenity: Death & Legacy, War of Ages Serious Black: Magic (Special edition that includes 2016 PPUSA performance) Tarja: The Shadow Self Testament: Live in London Vanden Plas: The Seraphic Clockwork, Chronicles of the Immortals Netherworld II That doesn't even count ordering Labryth, Eclipse and Cellar Darling on Amazon in preparation for next year's show--as well as Silence by Sonata Arctica. If I'm lucky, I might be finished listening to these by the time Christmas rolls around.
