    It's pretty good. Not even close to Catch 33 or their other stuff though

    Have not heard this album yet. I think I downloaded it awhile ago but will wait to buy it. I need to go on a New Album Binge really soon.

    Meshuggah is one of those bands I perceive to be fairly popular in the Metal world, despite never having met anyone who can actually tolerate them.

    I dont like anything they have done except for Destroy, Erase, Improve....but this new one rules.

    my favourite part about meshuggah is that every album after their first two pretty much sounds exactly the same and all of them rule

    It really is. It's abrasive as FUCK and the production is top-notch. Unlike the last few albums they put out, this one is a lot more fast-paced and, like you said, pummeling.

    Nothing catchy about Catch 33. All it does is drag. In fact, there's nothing catchy about Meshuggah period, lol.

    This is the best Meshuggah album yet imo.
