    Warbringer sounds okay.
I haven't held out much hope for Annihilator for years but despite I Am War not being that good it's better than anything Jeff's done for a while.
There is also a tentative Feb release for Testament but the band, or label, are keeping the details quiet at this stage

Not gonna lie, i kinda liked that Sepultura track too. Might just give that album a shot.

yeah, ive been waiting for them to give us a track or two before it comes out but looks like that's not gonna happen

Gene's obviously restricted to what he can say but he has said the album is mixed and ready to go. Chuck and the others are saying little more than possibly Feb 2020. I don't know if it's them being silent or the label but it's fucking annoying. There is bands out there with exact dates for album releases up to the end of 2020 yet Testament can't give us something for what is about 2 or 3 months.

A lot of the material with Derrick Green is actually okay (or what I've heard of it is) but not to the standards of shit like Schizophrenia obviously.

Couldn't agree more. Basically from Dante XXI they've been playing traditional sounding metal, it's a shame that all of the people who gave up on them in the late 90's don't give them much of a chance these days cause their last few albums have been fairly solid with lots of instrumentation to boot.

Gene has said that while he hopes the new DA will be soon it's far from set in stone. Him and Jim have written stuff but it's not recorded and they only get limited chances to sit down and work together. He's back on the road with Testament from early in the new year, he's writing an album with his wife, which he admits is further down the list than DA, and he's got several other solo/guest projects on the go. I heard an interview with him about a month ago where he suggested DA could easily be Christmas 2020

Carcass have a new flexi disc out of a new song called "Under the Scalpel Blade" but apparently you have to be subbed to some gay Decibel thing to get it, but they have a new album out early 2020.

Also Vendel (Russian epic metal band) have a new EP out soon, 2 covers (one of a Vitus track iirc) and an original cut called "Dirge."

Some new stuff from Blaze of Perdition, Necrowretch, Necropsy, plus two bands I'd never heard of; Coffin Curse from Chile and Invictus from Japan, both are death metal:

New napalm death to be out at the beginning of 2020. The same with Gojira. So stoked.
