    I received this email from Devolved this morning:

    "AUSTRALIAN TECH-METAL MASTERS DEVOLVED HAVE ANNOUNCED THEY WILL BE
    PERFORMING AT METAL FOR THE BRAIN, SAT 20TH DEC. THE BAND ARE TAKING TIME
    OUT FROM THE STUDIO WHERE THEY ARE BUSY RECORDING THE NEW ALBUM. MFTB WILL
    BE THEIR ONLY AUSTRALIAN SHOW FOR 2003. DEVOLVED WILL BE ON THE 'JJJ' STAGE
    FROM 9.00pm - 9.40pm."

    That was Superheist's time slot, so all I can say is:

    YYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Yes , that is great news , Rodd told me about that last night , sounds way better than the plan of having Supaspice playing tracks from their Apokalypse demo with Jayme Ludbrook on vocals .

    I'm glad Superheist aren't playing, but I hate Devolved just as much, so I really don't care.

    Nah you don't need a pass, unless you want to feel special so you can stand backstage or at the side of the stage while taking photos. :p Plenty of good photos have been taken from within pits though.

    Do playing times match exactly? Cause yeah, unfortunately I might miss most of Virgin Black too... missing Alchemist's set at MFTB is fucking well sacreligious.
