197 is good.

Here is my go at it. Let me know what you guys think please!
Sick playing ! I should have clicked on this thread title earlier !
my fixed version
Jaymz: what do you think of my mix?
I like everyone's tones, and Jaymz's mix slays. Here's my try:
Not happy with mix again, removed.
Lasse kick sample with one of my own IIRC
Gemy: That sounds cool....bit mid rangey though? A nice scoop and an extended bottom end would be nice to hear
thanks. sounds great!
Thanks for the DI's, awesome playing! If only every musician that I get to work with could be this talented..
Very nice work, thanks!

the sound of the DI is impresionant, what preamp do you use?sound card?
Red Eye for the DI, Profire 2626 for the soundcard!
Now with Resonance (damn pot on rear of amp was on 1). Hopefully it is FULLER now :

EDIT: A little brighter now, hopefully not too much.
Jaymz, hi! Thank you!
And your mix is great, btw.
Mine is right here:
Did a reamping through Mesa Dual Recto (Orange ch., Vintage mode) -> Engl E-412SS -> SM-57 + BG-1.1
GuitarHack, the last one you've provided is much better than the previous. I'd like to add some mids to the background higher guitar part.
Bugera 333XL, Bugera 6262, HB2x12 V30, two different mic position (sm57) and AmpSim TSE X50 + messiah ir http://www.criticalcabs.com/
Stay Metal !
6262-1 sounds best to me. Ampsim doesn't sound to bad at all either.
some lecto action
Character-wise I prefer 6262 sound, but tone-wise I choose the IR variant.
Don't you use straight mic position (at the right angle)?
