    Anyways here is my first mix attempt

    As usual im not sure about the bass yet need to ref it more as there might be a little to much there.

    Tried a little something different with the intro as well let me know what you think.

    anyway, ive been waiting to mix this for a while and ive finally found some time and energy to do so. put it off cos ive been feeling so jaded by having to polish turds so much for the last 6 months, this was just what i needed :D

    The amounts or ratio of low/lowmid/mid/highmid/high frequencies.

    Basically, I feel the mix sounds a bit muddy and dull. The tones are cool, though, so I'd say it's a matter of eqing out the unnecessary low/lowmids and adding a bit more definition.

    I think Gareth mix sounds scooped as a whole. Personally I dont like scooped mixes because I think they are lifeless. But not everyone can enjoy the same.:)

    the main feedback ive been getting about my latest mixes has been that theyre a tad dull. i will go about rectifying this tomorrow ^_^
