Mono and Tortoise are my favourite post-rock groups. Oh, and who could forget - Slint.

Does anyone know if there are mp3-samples from the bands A silver mt Zion and Mogwai available somewhere on the net? I'd love to hear them and the records are hard to get ahold of!

A silver mt Zion is somehow related to Godspeed You Black Emperor!, right?

A Silver Mt. Zion is the side project of at least one (that I know of) of the members of GYBE!. i really have no clue where you can get mp3. Try the Constellation records website?

On the topic of post rock, has anyone listened to The Autumn Project? I'm debating on whether to pick up their CD. Also anticipating the Red Sparowes CD next year.

Hey, I am getting ready to be a Grandpa.
For my grandson's christmas present I would like to have
some great music for his first year in the crib.
Mogwai, Sigur, and Explosions seem what I want him to hear (among
some classical and jazz stuff I already have recorded for him).
    What is the best Mogwai?
    Same with Explosions?
Or anything in this gender really.
