I've never understood the devotion to these guys, but I'm glad it's so exciting for so many to get a new disc from them.

Blind Guardian alone would probably eclipse 2015 for me, but the possibility of a new Iron Maiden as well means I don't think I care about anything else. Maybe new King Diamond too.

Blind Guardian and Nightwish top my list, followed by Helloween, Symphony X, Pagans Mind, Circus Maximus, Orden Ogan, and Ensiferum.

I'm sure hoping that there will be a Nocturnal Rites sighting in 2015.

All the speculation is fun, but I cannot even begin to come up with a most anticipated list. Out of my top five this year, NONE were from bands I'd heard prior to 2014. They were all surprises to me and pleasant ones. And the one album I was looking forward to turned out to be little more than fecal matter, so I can't play this game. It sounds like a lot is coming, though. Are these confirmed releases or guesses?
