I'm interested to hear what everyone would describe as their most inspiring piece of music. Doesn't have to be metal.

Name a song, album, symphony, whatever.

These are all works I've played solo or in orchestras and started crying/twitching while playing:

Edvard Grieg - Piano Concerto in A Minor, op. 16
    Liszt - Les Preludes
    Beethoven - Symphony No. 5
    Saint-Saens - Danse Macabre
Franck - Sonata for Violin in A Major

I must agree with this. It is a very powerful track, both musically and vocally. Definitely one of their best.

Handel is great, my choir sings a couple of his epic choruses, including alleluja and it's nothing short of awesome.

Bugger there's no 'like' button :)

 that's my mate's band. (Seriously).

God it's strange seeing people overseas mentioning them.

My own personal most inspiring song is "Slippin' Away" by Hypocrisy, but I could name many others...
