My first time ever hearing Weakling's Dead as Dreams

    Oh. My. Fucking. God.

    This is the BEST epic black metal I have ever heard.
    This is mind blowingly good. I was really starting to get bored with most of my music. I downloaded it but this is something I'll definitely look for a copy of.

    What's their story? Why did they break up? Are any of the members involved in any other projects?

    wow, that was quick.

    The Fucking Champs...I've heard a few of their songs. Sounded talented but I couldn't really get into it.

    I can see why some people seem to be worshipping them, but they don't really strike me that hard. Good album though.

    Weakling are fucking great. I love all of the guys who put "tr00" Norse black metal before any of the BM bands regardless of musicallity. I've literally had people tell me that Panzerfaust (darkthrone) beats out Dead as Dreams.

    Yep. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's the best epic black metal I've ever heard, although it is really good American black metal. You can sense the strong Burzum influence yet it's not a clone of the band.

    It didn't grasp me as hard as it did some others, but it's a very solid release nonetheless.
