Providing the offer was accepted, when should we expect an announcement?
The minute it happens unless they throw a monkey wrench in that I'm not expecting.
Sorry, Glenn....I can't throw any more money at ya until 2012
http://www.facebook.com/artizanmetal 11,000 and growing...
Hah, by now you're a pro on dodging these monkey wrenches.... It's not like you can't throw it right back!
He's the promoter with balls of steel - he'll chew the damn wrench up and spit it back out at 'em. Unless its Savatage....*wishes real hard*
Could this be a hint, I wonder. Glenn did say earlier that he is a promoter and also a fanboy, co could it be NIGHTWISH for one only US show, or maybe SABATON
I doubt it'd be Sabaton, since they've been on tour with Accept recently. Wouldn't be very exclusive.
Also, let's keep the "realistic" budget in perspective folks before names start getting tossed about...
What intrigues me the most is that Glenn said it would appeal to folks outside of the normal prog/power genre. This could mean anything from Death to Black to Thrash or even something not metal at all.
With that being said I'm praying its Mystic Prophecy (wishful thinking I know!). I posted on their facebook that they needed to play ProgPower and that it was long overdue. That same day Glenn posted about the "mystery" band.
Either way I'm sure it will be kickass!
Rules out Nightwish right away
There's too many bands I could guess with on this. I'm just gonna wait with anticipation.
In which universe does Mystic Prophecy appeal to folks outside the prog/power genre?
They don't lol. Thus my wishful thinking statement.
Ah, I missed that!
I probably shouldn't be doing this, but I can't resist. I'm going to guess a special set with John Arch. Maybe that's a bit of a stretch, but Glenn made Conception happen!
Stryper featuring Guest Vocalist Roy Kahn.
Come on now, I'm actually in a good mood today!
I actually laughed out loud at that.
