That would be Tresspas for me.

    Runners up:

    Bitches Sin
    Sweet Savage
Toad The Wet Sproket "One glass of wiskey"
Angel Witch -> The way they played in 1980, Baphomet, Extermination Day, Fligh 19...
White Spirit [with Janic Gers] Their first album is great.

I always liked Tank. The first Demon album was great too.

Yeah Tank were great. I saw them as support act of Motorhead in Belgium.

Diamond Head, although they lose points for encouraging Lars Ulrich...
And Angel Witch too. They should have been bigger, but were just a bit too scary for people back then.

Got to be Diamond Head. They were so good and just ruined by bad management.
Goes to show, don't let your mum manage your band!

These bands were sort of famous, but should have been hugs:

    Wrathchild America
    Powermad
Metal Church (second line-up with Mike Howe)
Brother Cane (cool hard-rockish/alternativish/southern rockish band, but I think many metalheads would like them)
Misha Calvin (Tony Martin, ex-Black Sabbath vocalist singing)
Death Angel (Act III era turned many metalheads off, but it was brilliant)
The Outfield (the coolest sounding pop band in the 80's. Even a thrash head like me enjoyed them)

No offence dude but were talking New Wave Of British Heavy Metal here.

The heavy metal revival that took place in the UK during the 1980s until '82/83

Tank and Holocaust. Of course, Holocaust depends how you think that Scotland fits in the scene of NWOBHM :)

I would say Holocaust would fit in damn fine! "The nightcomers" is a great NWOBHM albums and certainly a classic.

Samson, Diamond Head and Angel Witch in that order :)

I have the original Metal For Muthas LP, and do think Sledgehammer sounded alright, ne?

(and before any of you get any ideas - all this happened 5 years before I was even born  )
