  1. Just a heads up... In the next week or two we will be making some major upgrades to the site to bring the software and server fully up to date. While the upgrade happens the site will be offline for the day. There will be some quirkiness after the upgrade, but we'll get it all sorted out.

Hey guys, a straight up metal track:
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2843326/Mixdown 15-05-10.mp3
    what do you think?
Its MF on drums with a little snare blend.
Really need fresh ears on the bass and guitar tone..

Oh, and would love to work with someone for vocals and lyrics on this.
I've requested Marcus to solo over 2:36 to 2:59.

    Thanks :kickass:

IMHO: Make drums a little louder, more compression and change snare. More bass to kick. Guitar: fewer gain, it makes them clearer.
Sorry for my English, I've never practice it before)

Would give it a try for vocals but only have a sm58 under hand (worked with rentals for the couple of times I had to work out of a studio with proper tracking room).

@Raven, i'll update the mix and upload another soon, though i kinda wanted that hollow sounding snare, makes it a little interesting imo.

@Folkray: no issues with a sm58 mate, i've heard pretty good results with it as well.. :)

the bass is much overpowered, make guitars more upfront.
    MF drums sound good though!
