If anyone could inform me of some bands similar to Sonne Hagal / October Falls / Ann'sannat / Neun Welten / Werkraum / Forseti etc that would be cool. ;>

Do yourself a big favor, man and pick up Alcest's "Souvenirs de un Autre Monde." Niege is a French musician, who on this composes a "shoe-gaze style of acoustic metal and/or folk. One of the best albums of 2007.

Eh, Alcest is nowhere nere what he asked about.

    Try:
    Sol Invictus
    Backworld
    Darkwood
    Fire+Ice
    Death In June
    Tenhi
    Orplid
Of the Wand and the Moon

Not all of those are exactly the same but from my experience people who likes the bands you mentioned likes those too.

I don't know most of the bands mentioned but when I think of neofolk I think of Current 93, Death in June and Sol Invictus.

Yeah, your right. Alcest was not a good recc. However, I second the Sol Invictus and Current 93 reccs.

Judging on how I adore the first two, I guess I should check out the third.

    I second Tenhi.
