So there's a contest going on in Edmonton (Alberta really, but most of the bands applying are from Edmonton) to play the Metal Alliance tour with JFAC, 3 Inches of Blood, Dying Fetus, Impending Doom, and a few other great acts. Now we don't have the benefit of a large, dick-measuring friends list (which most of the time I think you'll agree, doesn't mean much at all) like a few of the top voted bands listed there, but we are still holding our own. If you'd like to hear us before voting, check out www.reverbnation.com/silentline Or direct links to a couple songs (Pre-production versions of them for our upcoming release): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3357861/Silent Line EP/Ens Entium (Pre-Prod).mp3 http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3357861/Silent Line EP/Spawn.mp3 For anyone who took the time to read, listen, or vote, thanks a lot! Even if you're not a fan of our stuff, a vote for a fellow Sneapster is not a wasted one! -Mike and Silent Line EDIT: Suppose I should link the voting site! http://concertworks.ca/en/?page_id=413
Bump... But not just any bump! I'll provide samples of the entire Tama Warlord Spartan kit we are using to record our new stuff if we get some more love from the board Apparently it was the one from a previous NAMM conference, our drummer has the plaque (could be wrong about that, but I'm 95% sure) with it's model number out of 50 kits worldwide. Anyways, it sounds delicious!
Thanks dude, means a lot! Here's a little cover we were working on at jam one day that we decided to record and fool around with a bit (She Sells Sanctuary by The Cult): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3357861/Silent Line EP/She Sells Sanctuary.mp3
Thanks guys, we're doing pretty good! Just have to hold it in there til friday at noon when the voting closes. Every vote is appreciated.
Well, I'm going to bump it one more time. Tomorrow's the last day for voting so fear not anymore bumps! You guys have already been great, let's drive this one home, eh! <-- had to support stereotypes
