Uh, except for "Brother", which, if you watch the clip, Warrel says is by far his most personal piece he's ever recorded. He explains some of the reasons in detail behind it too. Sometimes even the Nevermore board could stand to come down to earth.
he doesnt go so into depth as to ruin anything. he gives a basic 10 second description of the general topic (which you could figure out on your own once you get the lyrics). its just a little preview, he didnt pull back any mysterious curtains or anything.
This is true...but my point is that there really is no room for interpretation on it. It's obvious that it's about his brother and they don't get along...but only in the interview does he tell you why.
I like that.... one minute of a short explination of each song (that I still havn't heard... May May where art thou)
"august" is my favorite song from the record. id love to hear more about it. after watching that video i guess the song is about something completely different than what i originally thought...
"Brother" still remains my favorite... I remember those days quite well, and even met "said brother" a few times. I'm glad he was finally able to work it into the project. His mom was funny and the coolest; letting us jam in the living room anytime and putting up with us wacky kids, without judgment and criticism. Very supportive
I always looove it!! Especially when I haven't heard the music yet. It always thrills me more and more
