his Axtra custom guitar with the Into the Mirror Black cover on it
Is that the one you got from him, or is it one of the others? and do you have a pic of it somewhere?
Nah, the Axtra I got from him is the one that he recorded Dreaming Neon Black with. There's gotta be a better pic around somewhere... in fact, I KNOW that is a better picture of it. I just can't find it.
if you find one, let me know.
the album is pretty good imho, but it lacks musical maturity imho. PoE is sooo much more to my taste.
Since we are talking about technicality, my opinion is and will always be that technique is just means to an end. If what you hear in your head is sextuplets at 150 with polyrythms and all that, then why not. I don't like separating metal into technical metal and simple metal. You can have simple riffs in a technical song or whatnot.
i was trying to fuck him up.
That one wasn't funny
I'm definitely smart enough to know they weren't using 7's then. hell, it wasn't until like DHIADW when the 7's kicked in if I'm not mistaken.
correct. the 7's showed up on Dead Heart, delaying Nevermore's awesomeness until Enemies came out. TGE further proves that the awesomeness is coming back... can't wait to see what awesomeness unfolds with the next one.
Nevermore Five Man Acoustic Jam
Nevermore unplugged.. very intriguing indeed. actually, cannibal corpse unplugged would be pretty interesting too.
Yup. One song tuned to D (WTK), the rest in D sharp (E flat).
i actually like dead heart in a dead world better than eor, dnb and the selftitled
is it just my copy, or does almost every single song on the self titled album sound like it has its own distinct little production difference? they don't all sound the same which is a little weird to me.
For fucks sake, it's been two years since the last album now... I need more kick-arse Nevermore music :/
We always knew this about you. When does the pride parade start?
I have quite an attachment to DHIADW because the very first Nevermore song i ever heard was on that album... "The River Dragon Has Come". i heard it on a power metal sampler from Century Media that a friend of mine had.
that's understandable... First song I heard was This Sacrament, so I was exposed to Nevermore's faster and... 6 stringed side before anything else.
yeah, it doesn't meant it's my favorite though. i just won't ever ever ever bash it. TGE kicks the most ass, but that's my opinion and no one has to agree with me.
