Man, why you always post before I get to? Haha. Sounds awesome. Was Khan in there?

Since Hellfire Club, I've preferred everything AVANTASIA to EDGUY. The AVANTASIA stuff just seems more inspired. EDGUY just seems to continuously let me down since Hellfire Club. I'm no fan of the "hard rock" stance EDGUY has taken. I loved the speedy sing-a-along power metal stuff infinitely more.

Oh wow. This is great. I remember hating the first two Avantasia albums, but since the third one everything they've done has been a must-buy.

I adore the first two albums. I like the other ones just fine, but the first two are the best, IMO.

After the first 2, they kind of steered away from the speedy double bass power style, to venture more into melodic metal and hard rock, which was fine for me and highly successful IMO. Sure, the last outings being so damn long, there were maybe some filler stuff, but I enjoyed most of them and they're my fave Avantasia albums as a whole, even though I enjoy the first 2 as well.
