It seems that Tobias has so much material and ideas that the new Avantasia album will be 2 CD. From his official web:
Meine, Ripper and Allen?! Well, might as well not even bother to write an album in 2010 because Avantasia will utterly destroy anything else to come out. Also I heard there's a new Edguy in the pipeline as well.
And Lande Looks like Tobias is decided to kick Arjen Lucassen ass , in anycase if Ayreon decides to go back to THE or before (their last album as well as Guilt Machine came out unispired) it'll have a heavy contender with Avantasia.
The Scarecrow was in a league of it's own. Just an incredible album. Lande is fine but he's basically the same voice as Allen anyways. Tobi should snag Tony Mills for this.
Yeah, except for the new Symphony X which was announced due out in the Spring of 2010!! Also, they signed with Nuclear Blast recently. If Russ is involved, I'll be checking it out.
New Dream Evil, Fozzy and Armored Saint as well. Looks like 2010's shaping up to be a great year and it's 2 months off!
A great album on it's own. Allen is fine but he's basically the same voice as Lande anyways as proven in their Allen/Lande albums. Jorn is the leader, the rest are followers
The Dream Evil and Armored Saint should be excellent. Maybe we can get DIO-Magica 2 & 3 in 2010 also. If the new Avantasia is like The Scarecow, I'm confident that the double album will make an excellent single album for me.
loved the metal opera (1 and 2), couldn't really get into the other stuff though. I'll be checking this out.
