Man I nearly shat myself when I saw on myspace Into Eternity added a new song. Can't wait to see them August 23. Everything in that song is great. I was interested in hearing how the drums would be without Jim Austin writing the parts and everything is great. Can't wait to see them in three weeks and can't wait to buy their new album.

I am pretty sure that there are no effects considering there is unmixed.

IE is one of the most complex bands around. This new song, although a little rough, is fucking awesome. Can't wait for The Incurable Tragedy to be released. It's going to be a great year with IE, Opeth and Scar Symmetry releasing new albums!:headbang:

I just hope, and PRAY that they fix the bass drum sound on the new album. I understand the need for triggers to give clarity at some of the higher speeds (ala severe emotional distress), but those same triggers also ruined some of the lighter moments of the album (Surrounded by Night comes to mind). Just my opinion on things, but who the fuck am I? Just wanted to throw it out there that a more natural drum sound seems to fit better than the Overly processed sounds.

nah i agree. The bass drum on TSoA was pretty bad. I'm hoping they fix that too.
