New Mix Test - OG Loko [Sturgis Mix]

    I had a go at recording, mixing and mastering the song O.G Loko by Of Mice & Men, this is the result:

    I used my POD HD PRO for the guitars and bass and a mixture of superior drummer and other samples for the drums, this is a pretty simple song layout compared to what I usually listen to as there's not a lot going on along the lines of backing, such as strings and effects.

    I really really don't like those drums. they sound like plastic and ruin your mix.

    Also not a huge fan of the drums but the guitar tone seems pretty spot on. Not a bad mix though.

    Yeah i agree with that guy, drum = poop but the guitar tones pretty sick. what head and cab?

    I would add just a touch of eq boost at 500 to give some body, but otherwise.. Nice work!
