I hope you realize that my comment was a zinger at Tarja, not a knock on Anette. And, I got over Tarja not being in NW when she got canned for cause.

Yes, I do, and if you were over it, you'd stop posting stupid shit like that in every single Nightwish thread that ever comes up. Seriously dude, we're all sick of reading it.

I have to agree with Pat... the angry anti Tarja posts are friggin' stupid at this point... It's been what, 8 years?

Agreed with Pat and Milton. Nightwish has moved on. Tarja has moved on. Both are doing just fine without the other.

Tuomas Holopainen talks about the background of "Storytime"

Btw. the movie snippets included in the Storytime-video are actually from from the songs "Scaretale" ( the mad circus ) and "Slow, Love, Slow" ( a jazz-club in 1930s' ) and have nothing to do with the Snowman theme of "Storytime" which he is talking about. ;)

I'm sure this is going to aggravate the Tarja fanboys (a very vocal, entertaining group, I'll say. :)) but this is the Nightwish I've been waiting for. Melodic vocals with a tremendously catchy melody line and the music just kills too. This could be good or bad depending on WHICH Nightwish you like... personally, I couldn't stomach the operatic, overly-dramatic vocal style of the "Tarja-era", but the music was great. Their new CD should be incredible if this is any indication.

Between this and the new Lacuna Coil.. it's going to be a good next few months for female-fronted metal bands. Booyah!

    Rawk!

Cool song, catchy as hell with some goof riffage, and the symphonic/choral layers are top-notch as usual, along with the overal production...sounds like a million bucks, and probably cost as much :loco: I also love how Nightwish has offered instrumental versions for the last 2-3 albums...fun to listen to, and they give extra insight into just how good a songwriter/composer Tuomas is...

Geez, Can't a guy have some fun at her expense.:lol::lol: And, I was not angry. Notice the smiley at the end of my post. That said, I'll close the book for now.

Anyone going to pick up the Imginaerum box set? Nuclear Blast Europe is selling it for about $100US. Just pre-ordered mine.
