Yeah, this reminds me of Behemoth, so I might actually buy this album.

 

I hope groovy mid paced songs are not going to be the new direction of the band however

Hopefully we'll have some slow crushings songs like "sarcophagus".

Very brutal indeed, although i didn't think this song sounded nearly as good their previous stuff. It is however just one song so i cant judge the entire album yet. I think the new Behemoth track on that site sounded pretty kickass though.

 

Sounded kind of boring to me. The break-down in the middle was the best part, and the only Egyptian-sounding part of the song. Besides that, it was a real snoozer.

"eat of the dead" and "even the gods must die" are so incredibly heavy and crushing.

 

Eat of The Dead has thid great Morbid Angel=like riff at the beginning, The Gods Must Die looks like a brutal epic.

 

I agree. I listened to it 2,3 times. I was waiting for just one interesting guitar part or something.
