Don't like the new vocalist as much as Adrian, he had a more unique sound to his voice. I don't like the screams at all- I get a very Rise-friendly vibe. Almost whiny? It doesn't sound bad. When I first heard Northlane, I wasn't fond of Adrian's vocals and it took time to grow on me. That being said though- Putney did a good job at maintaining a consistent sound and keeping it close to Singularity. I like his approach to drums, the tom bit was cool.

100% better than Adrian in every way possible. I love this.

    It's different.
Sounds a bit like a mix between the style of the first Glass Cloud album and Periphery's stuff (with a Northlane vibe of course). Cool but different.

I feel the same, you can hear that out of tune whine in his highs! I dig the singing a lot, though.

Reminds me of Keith Buckley on Hot Damn! more than anything scream-wise. He had that same pitched whine thing going on, though it disappeared after that record. I kind of like it.

I realllllly dislike the production on the new songs. Just some very odd and off-putting mix decisions to my ears.
