Yep, they are toast without Hanemann and Lombardo.
That was boring. The songwriting looks like teenagers first demo or something like that. Does Gary Holt write something or what? The Exodus records from the past 10 years were great, I'm surprised he can't do at least as good with slayer...
on That Metal Show, Kerry King said that Gary did his solos, but the rest of the album was him. He said Jeff used to do all the clean intros, which is why they sounded good.
My thoughts exactly.
I need to get more Exodus stuff. I own Bonded By Blood
half-ass rip off of South of Heaven (written by Hanneman) merged with their newer style. blehg.
Yeah, no, I'm not impressed either.
Sounds like Slayer. If I remember reading, it's a seg into another song. It kind of has a cool mood to it.
Actually, it sounds like they've been listening to some Distortion and Green era Forbidden.
Too bad they didn't manage to make anything interesting out of it.
Distortion and even Green were much more creative than this.
Which raises the eternal question: Tim, when will you come back to write a good album, preferably with Warrel?
I know, which is why I said what I said below the second video.
And Tim is too busy being Guile.
I thought he was too busy being a First Officer with SkyWest.
Oh, I didn't see the videos. Crossposting.
staying firmly in mediocrity land yaay
Sounds like Slayer.
