It is fantastic and so is the album! Has the butterflies something to do with chaos and "the butterfly effect" ?

    I think so, yes.
I mean...utterflies represent the chaos theory
(butterfly effect etc). so i never questioned it.
the band came up with a few things and i just started making stuff up with their input until it became what it is. I don't exactly remember at what point, how, or why we chose the
butterflies. at one point one of the rough ideas they sent me had a butterfly and at some point i ended up running with the idea forwhatever reason - but it definitely fits

it's not my cup of tea.....
I prefer by far new skinlab and new beseech....I guess a little bit dark (not color but mood) and "rare"

I really like what you did with the soilwork cover.
It doesn't look like a typical metal album cover, that's why.

@ vic. HAHAH. dontchange. i like you just the way you are. HEE HEE

@ soul: that's what the guy at century media said too.
this goes back to what Mattias and I were talking about
before about the same ideas coming up later. It's funny because
i've seen a few covers with butterflies in them and we were tring to make sure it didnt really look the same as any of them so after a few
ideas that didnt work, the band said try a mouth and we did it and it worked.
i cant even remember that part from green mile other than the fact it was like light or something. i musta been too drunk while watching it.

    oh well

actually I was watching the girl more (who I was watching the film with) but the main thing still is that the dude healed people by touching them and then releasing all the evil by 'spitting' somekinda flies up in the air..........

maybe you just can't remember it so it's one of these subconscious things..? :)

New guy here - just wanting to add my voice to the chorus praising the Natural Born Chaos cover. Album cover of the year for me so far.

I heard a guy in my local metal store say to the guy behind the counter that he didn't like it and that they should have got Travis Smith to do the cover... Obviously, he felt like a bit of a dick

On a personal note - Trav, I love the work you did on the Last Fair Deal Gone Down cover - captures the mood beautifully.

Agreed. Where in Melbourne are you? It's always good to see a fellow Melbournian discussing good music.

Sorry Travis, but you're career is over! You reached perfection in the 'Tonight's Decision' booklet. Every page is a masterpiece. Everything else suffers because of it...

For all those who may be wondering - the "local metal store" I mentioned is Metal Mayhem.

Requiem, I'm in Ascot Vale - if you go to the afore mentioned shop relatively frequently I've probably met you.

Further praise: The Nevermore Dead Heart cover is also very very cool. I've never taken much notice of who was responsible for the cover art until I started seeing Travis Smith all over the place.

I thought it was Metal Mayhem. Great store, isn't it. Only the incsence is pretty fucking potent! I don't really go regularly... probably once a month or so, but when I do go I spend up!

Isn't it that assistant of the muppet scientist? The guys mouth opens and closes really funny and I think it gave me nightmares when I was little!
