Think this one will be a grower for me, on the tour it was "OMGZ NEW EVILE" but eh, I'll wait for the album to come out.
Just listened... really good, especially for a mid-paced song (I always lean way towards fast songs!). I know I got in trouble last time I compared a new song to anything, but the pitching of the vocal melody coupled with the slower pace reminds me in a way of Forbidden's Distortion album (which is underrated). I like it a lot, it's dark, and the evil middle section with the solo is really great! Love the production too... can we have an mp3 of this? I really want to listen to it walking about and at work... I also really think this album is going to be rather great... I love the darker sounding thrash, and the two songs so far are definitely that...
i am not so keen on the repetitive choruses with long drawn-out syllables on both songs the vocal quality and guitar tone are great though
i like this song a lot matt your vocals are really cool during the verse with the sort of higher notes-ish thing goin on really really awesome for a slow thrash song cant wait for the album!
I think my only complaint with it is the DEMOLITIOOOOOON bit - its fine really but it sounded better live (refer to the Manchestr bootleg on Youtube and you'll see what I mean). VERY minor complaint though
haha at bloodstock a guy comes to me and goes "infected nation was bloody brilliant but demolition was fucking terrible mate" haha gotta love forwardness! this album is seriously going to divide people.
If by that you mean, the real fans are gonna stay and the people who just like you coz they think you sound like Slayer are gonna go. Then, maybe.
