Not bad. Still miss Lisa though.
Dude you've linked to the middle of the video. Too much dream deceiving. By the way the song is very disappointing.
Its Yeoman YouTube to the rescue!
Song is decent, but its a little bit of a phone-in for what I was expecting.
Nothing super dynamic about the new singer so far, but she can hang with the notes....
I am still super looking forward to the CD.
the vocals are not as powerful as Manuela's in my opinion
Lisa will always be my favourite. Can't believe it's been 10 years since I saw them on tour for Ravenheart.
Have to agree with this one, Matt. I like Dianne's voice but just doesn't have power that Manuela did. Both are great singers IMHO though.
I like the song well enough but I agree with the assertion that Dianne's voice (at least in this song) comes across less powerfully than that of Manuela. However, it sounds like Dianne may be able to perform some of the band's other songs from earlier albums AND the stuff off the last album as well.
Looking forward to seeing them live again in October at the Masq in Atlanta!
I guess they are becoming a bit more commercial with each progressive album... not as much as Edenbridge thankfully. This is good for what it is.... well produced, maybe almost a bit too smooth, but still good. These guyz are right on the edge of becoming huge in Europe obviously... been a long road.
Man, not nearly as massive as I was expecting. After the huge symphonic goodness of "Neverworld's End" I was expecting a little more oomph out of this single. Maybe it's nothing and the rest of the album is more dynamic, but it definitely tamps down my expectations for this.
***This is exactly what I miss about this band.......thanks for posting.
I'm really diggin' this. Must be in the minority. Oh well. Did I mention I'm diggin' it?
