    Any news now?

If there's nothing going on with the band anymore I figure I'll throw my two cents in this thread anyways. I saw you guys at one of the first metal shows I went to (in Worcester 2008) and you all were sick. There are way too many really generic this-and-that-core bands touring all over America right now and I wish you all would get back on the road because you're style is a nice breath of fresh air from most of what's around, I'm sure there are lots of other folks that feel the same way.

Even if the band is done, just know that your deeds are immortal!

Per Nilsson apparently just joined the band, which I think is kind of a weird choice, but as long as it doesn't conflict with Scar Symmetry I guess I won't complain. Not a fan of The Absence, but I figured fans would want to know this probably means they're going to be active again (and better than ever probably because Per is a phuckin phenomenal guitarist).
