Both look pretty lucky to me.
Bottom line is it was a close game in which both teams got some nice bounces. It is definitely incorrect to say the Cards were lucky to be in the NFCCG. This was a 13 win team.
Honestly Palmer played like shit and got rewarded with that nice bounce. We saw it again the next week against the Panthers, Palmer looked ridiculous out there
Exactly. They got rewarded with a nice bounce and all the critical calls also. Without those they lose easily.
Predictions for tomorrow?
I've got the Panthers 24-10.
If the Broncos win, it will be an extremely ugly game. Probably 15-13 with Manning getting the MVP despite throwing for 150 yards 1 TD and 2 Ints. Can't wait for the 4 hour Simms Nantz circle jerk over Manning tomorrow
I just want to see a close game. I don't think it will be though.
Broncos win 25-20
Weird that Broncos d is not getting respected but Panthers are. I think Richard is the rightest, score will be that or swapped. Hopefully a solid game and not like the SEA v DEN superbowl.
I thoroughly enjoyed that Super Bowl.
I dropped like 100$ at the bar and the game was over by the 1st quarter. real bummer
Broncos fans were talking so much shit up until the game started. So hilarious.
Best ever was 49ers vs. Broncos Super Bowl. John Elway got utterly destroyed by Joe Montana and co. There were like 7+ current hall of famers on that 9ers team tbf. more to come.
Yeah the Broncos were overmatched in pretty much every Super Bowl that they didn't have Terrell Davis to run the ball.
The only outcome that would surprise me is if the Broncos straight up spanked the panthers. Any other outcome is to be expected tbh.
Really thought the Panther Oline would do better than they did tonight. Fuckin Oher is playin the role of a turnstyle.
Not even gonna freak out. I'm just really happy for Peyton. Going out on top on what has been a crazy fucking career. Thanks for all the memories Peyton!
He played like shit tonight too. Need to thank the Denver defense. Not exactly going out like Elway did.
The SB was a slopfest outside of Bruno Mars. This is why I don't waste my time watching the NFL's product much lately. Between the rule changes and the last CBA, the product is just down the tubes.
Pretty boring game.
Amazing performance by Denver's defense. It's really hard to win with a backup quarterback.
