The End Records is very proud to announce we have signed Dan Swanö’s Nightingale for North America. Recordings begin May 3rd at Soundlab Studios for a possible release date in the Fall, 2002.

The upcoming album is entitled “Alive Again” and while the songs are fully completed there are only 2 song titles so far: ‘Alive Again (Part IV)’ and ‘The Shadowman.’ According to Dan: “[compared to the previous releases the new album will] be a bit of everything. Some tracks are in major key for a change without being too commercial; sad major. There is some chunky stuff, one 10 minute mega epic and a few traditional Nightingale style rockers. You will dig it...I promise!!!”

    Current Nightingale Line-up:

Dan Swanö - Lead vocals, lead/rhythm and acoustic guitars, keyboards.

Erik Oskarsson - Bass and backing vocals.

Tom Nouga - Lead/rhythm and acoustic guitars, backing vocals, keyboards

Tom Björn - Drums and acoustic guitar

    Discography:

    Nightingale – I (2000)
Nightingale – The Closing Chronicles (1996)
Nightingale – The Breathing Shadow (1995)

Dan Swanö, one of the most prolific and talented musicians in the scene, has recorded, produced and participated in countless acts varying from progressive rock to death metal. Besides Nightingale some of his other bands are: Moontower, Edge Of Sanity, Unicorn, Godsend, Pan-Thy-Monium, Bloodbath, Diabolical Masquerade, etc.

Tom Björn also plays in Memory Garden and Memento Mori, Erik Oskarsson in Godsend and Tom Nouga (a.k.a. Dag Swanö) participated in various Dan Swanö projects.
