Does anyone else ever see things that resemble metal album covers? Especially things that have nothing to do with music at all.

This beer label always makes me think of some kind of dark, somber doom metal release. Even the name of the beer fits.

Old Magic: The Gathering cards do this all the time, alot of the card art would fit perfectly on some 80s metal album with LOTR-lyrics. There are too many to show but this is a classic:
    unholystrength.hq.jpg

Also Mignola sometimes has this doomdeath feel in his Hellboy art, like this for example:

More things, alot of those are already rightfully recognized as metal by alot of bands (alot of pictures).

    Some art:

    Midvinterblot by Carl Larsson:

    Asgårdsreien by Peter Nicolai Arbo:

Tors strid med jättarna by Mårten Eskil Winge:
    Thors-Battle-with-the-Giants.jpg

    Sorgen by Theodor Kittelsen:
    kittelsen-sorgen.jpg

Seventh Seal by Ingmar Bergman has to be one of the most sampled movies in (extreme) metal, the Flagellants are probably one of the most doom metal things outside of doom metal:
    flagellants.jpg

Games Workshop is just like Magic the Gathering an endless source of badass metal artwork, for example:

So, I'm bored at work so I guess I'll spam this thread abit more!

Some buildings that maybe not directly look like album covers, but are very metal looking generally.

The Sedlec Ossuary in the Czech Republic:

The railway station in Vännas in Sweden, notice the vikingesque dragons on the roof!
