You know the drill!!!!!
listened to the first FIFTH ANGEL coming to work.
Anacrusis, Screams & Whispers
Always liked that band! I need to get some of their reissue packages.
They were always so unique live, with the lead guy wearing one of those headband microphone things like KIP WINGER used to wear.
Didn't realize they were on EPIC. Wow. Weird.
Post some recommended tracks later pls...
Thanks, how about some YOUTUBE clips next time
Exmortus - Beyond the Fall of Time
Never got to see them live (yet?...). I'll certainly take the first chance I get. I know they played local St. Louis shows a few times lately but I didn't find out about those till after they happened.
I saw them with VoiVod in 1988 and then again with DRI in 1990 or something.
They were definitely always an oddball band (in a good way) in the scene.
They were ahead of their time. If they came around later like when CYNIC or ATHEIST did, they would have caught more attention.
youtube hasnt lee's part of the state yet.
Now here is a SERIOUS influential jam:
It wasn't my absolute favorite Saxon album, but I fucking love this song...it definitely harkens back to the Saxon of old.
I almost picked up this up (the 2CD reissue that came out a few months ago, I mean) at the store last weekend. I'm really reluctant to pay $18 for a CD, but these reissues look to offer a decent amount of stuff.
I love instrumental shred guitar
Sorry man, but both lyrically and musically, that might be the most unoriginal thing I have ever heard.
I love belting out the first track in the shower. Bonus points if my roommates are at home and have to hear it.
Who said it had to sound original? It sounds like classic Saxon to me. To each their own I guess...
