So, scott is obvioulsy a fan of the 'ol zombie movie. I quite like them as well. Much more than the shitty torture porn that's popping up lately (I'm steering well clear of the human centipede 2). Name your favourite zombie flicks, then. I love Shaun of the Dead. The first REC film was great, and the classic Dawn of the Dead is great. And although not technically a zombie film, I think that 28 Days Later is absolutely brilliant.
I'm old school, so my favorite and still the reigning Zombie Flick Champion is and will be Night Of The Living Dead. In fact I like all of Romero's Living Dead-series, even the newer ones. I liked the remake of Dawn Of The Dead, I thought it was a nice twist to make the zombies run. Me and my friends were huge zombie fans back in school, we even made two movies (Oscar-worthy stuff!). I remember near the end of 8th grade we had math class, and there's was nothing left to study, so our teacher asked if we'd like to watch a movie. Just so happened that my friend had a vhs video in his backbag, and suddenly there we were watching Zombie 2 in school!

Here's another "great" one as well. "Wild Zero" featuring the band Guitar Wolf. This is a hugely enjoyable and unbelievably absurd watch, and the DVD extras include a drinking game where a beer must be downed on critical moments during the film (such as when heads explode....which happens a lot).

Yeah. I remember watching Brain Dead a few years back. Wasn't that prepared for the graphic content of the film, so our initial idea was to just have a pizza and watch a movie. As it turned out, we didn't eat that much of the pizza.

I saw some zombie flick a week or so ago (I think it was on IFC) that was about 4 young folks who were turned into zombies and the majority of the movie was done from their point of view. The acting was terrible and it was far from my favorite zombie movie, but it was a neat take on zombie flicks. Can't remember the name of it though.
World War Z is a great book. If you can even get the Audio Book then get it! Sounds like the film is changing a lot of the story which is a shame.
Oh yaeh Zombieland was excellent! BILL FUCKING MURRAY! I can't wait for the sequel! I just finished watching an indie film called Dance Of The Death, but I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.
