  1. Just a heads up... In the next week or two we will be making some major upgrades to the site to bring the software and server fully up to date. While the upgrade happens the site will be offline for the day. There will be some quirkiness after the upgrade, but we'll get it all sorted out.

you know, show us how you work the strings? i hear the guitarist from jag panzer is doing one, why not you? there is a void when it comes to metal bass guitar instructional videos, you could fill that niche market. us crazy steve d. fans could throw in some imput maybe? a wishlist of what we'd like to see covered, like our own little take home lessons...

am i nuts or do any of you guys agree with me?

The only ones that come close are the videos that Billy Sheehan did in the late 80's

While I have a tiny hope of SDG ever having time enough to make an instructional video (he having a tight schedule), I'd like to see a good video with SDG playing live all the crazy stuff he plays. (Keeping focus on bass playing, for us, the crazy SDG-bass-nuts).

Even a recording session with Sadus or Vintersorg would be interesting.

Well, we can dream about that. :)

The instruction videos that Stuart Hamm has done are very good, they do look a little dated but his technique and theory is very good.
Last time i looked Bunny Brunel was just about to release a dvd instructional.
