The Opeth fanbase is morbidly obese. I think Mickel should take responsibility and make a thrash metal album to promote physical activities other than masturbation

I made a mix of the heavier songs and always get a great workout in...

Now if the wife would only let me play them when intimate!!

Disarmonia Mundi's Mind Tricks is my favorite album to work out to.
Opeth doesn't quite cut it for me.
My Arms, Your Hearse can do it sometimes, but not always.

Yeah Opeth doesn't work out to well. For work out music there needs to be continious momentum, while Opeth's music is very spontaenous. However, I find Opeth is good for interval cardio training. Spring during heavy sections and rest for the mellow ones. Usually, I have a set series of music that I listen to when I'm exercising that I don't listen to very often otherwise. Demigod isn't a bad album to weight lift with.

I honestly don't care. Death metal doesn't make it easier for me to lift heavier or do more reps. I listen to whatever I'm in the mood for. So I play Opeth sometimes when I exercise.

I'll occasionally listen to Opeth while running, but I usually prefer shorter songs.

Mmm, thrash is where its at for workout music. Machine Head is rather good.
But I did see a dude wearing an Opeth T-shirt at the gym, he was fucking massive too.
