i dont think it works very good i prefer death metuulz or things with more energy
The Opeth fanbase is morbidly obese. I think Mickel should take responsibility and make a thrash metal album to promote physical activities other than masturbation
i use it all the time. The other day i listened to Master Apprentice, Bleak, Blackwater Park, and Demon of the fall
I made a mix of the heavier songs and always get a great workout in...
Now if the wife would only let me play them when intimate!!
Disarmonia Mundi's Mind Tricks is my favorite album to work out to.
Opeth doesn't quite cut it for me.
My Arms, Your Hearse can do it sometimes, but not always.
is this a response to the nerdy studying with opeth thread? to show there are also jocks here? ...
sure looks like it.
I don't work out. I just stay fit.
Yeah Opeth doesn't work out to well. For work out music there needs to be continious momentum, while Opeth's music is very spontaenous. However, I find Opeth is good for interval cardio training. Spring during heavy sections and rest for the mellow ones. Usually, I have a set series of music that I listen to when I'm exercising that I don't listen to very often otherwise. Demigod isn't a bad album to weight lift with.
does it rly look like mike likes to work-out?
should we work out?!
keep metal unfit, stay inside and play yer geetar! \m/
I usually listen to Viking metal while I lift.
couldnt agree more. death metal works great when im jogging.
I honestly don't care. Death metal doesn't make it easier for me to lift heavier or do more reps. I listen to whatever I'm in the mood for. So I play Opeth sometimes when I exercise.
Iron Maiden is my workout music of choice.

when im jogging im usually listening to something a bit faster than opeth
I'll occasionally listen to Opeth while running, but I usually prefer shorter songs.
studying isnt really a nerdy thing.. in the final exams everyone who's not a complete retard is going to study A LOT
here's something that might skew you away from that thought Skew away LT
Mmm, thrash is where its at for workout music. Machine Head is rather good.
But I did see a dude wearing an Opeth T-shirt at the gym, he was fucking massive too.
