This concert here at the Fillmore (31 jan) was just incredible...I've been to a ton of concerts and I can safely say this was one of the best (if not THE best) I had ever been to.

I had never seen Opeth till now (missed them the last couple times they were here in California, still hurts to that day!), and I have to say I'm really quite impressed.

The crowd went crazy on several tracks : Demon of the fall of course, but also on the opening Masters Apprentices, The Drappery Falls, Deliverance, the unexpected April Ethereal (my favorite Opeth song maybe, if only they could have played "When" right after it!)...

The mellow parts were also really well received (first two tracks of Damnation), and "In My Time Of Need" might have been the most intense song of the gig (oh the joy of seeing those headbangers sing "Would someone watch over me In my time of need", hehe)

    WE WANT MOOOOOOOORE! :headbang: :headbang:

Yes, yet again Opeth blew the shit out of SF. Best parts were The Moor, April Ethereal, and Blackwater Park. Fucking perfect.

Man, how's Blackwater Park live? This is one of my favorites tracks from the band, and I'll be driving alone up to Mass. just to see this setlist.
