Huh. I'll have to hear it in the context of the entire album before I form my opinion. Tasty drumming though.

Is that the real album artwork? Are their heads really growing on a tree?

I've never been an Opeth fan (I liked Blackwater Park in my teens, but I actually like Damnation over any of their albums), but I'm loving this song!

I've been into Opeth since... I don't even know, Blackwarter Park? Anyway, I like the song a lot. Looking forward to the album.

really dig the new track. sounds more like old opeth (without growls, obviously, and more jazzy) than watershed did (and i really like watershed).

Never been a fan of Opeth (never disliked it though) but i like this. There is to little organ in rock/metal these days :D
Kind of remins me of a 70's rock act, a bit psychedelic with a touch of progressive elements withoiut getting away from melodies

I think it suites the music, and the direction they seem to be going with this

I think there's a lot of ways to achieve a raw natural warm sound, it just happens that I don't like that particular one :D

I really like the production, not so much the music, but Opeth really is an incredible band.

I like everything about the music.

The production works except the drums. The thing that bothers me is that the kick drum is quiet and ducks behind the other instruments in parts. In quiet parts the kick gets really loud. The toms are loud and overbearing at every little touch no matter what. So wonky.

I guess my standards of music have lowered because I can't see how this can suck amongst the massive amounts of other massive suckage out there in the music field  But then again, maybe I'm not in the know about what sucks, what sucks moderately, and what sucks royally.
