I still need to get this one, I have "Out of Myself and you know I love it! I guess technically that was 2004 but one of my favorites for this year still as well. Now they release this one and it sounds like it is amazing as well.

Yes they are with us on IO now which is great. I am looking forward to getting it ASAP. I know Doug had my copy of Out of Myself and liked it, and I think Sean actually has it now :) He still has it so he probably loves it as well. So I know they have heard it.

2005,s masterpiece hey, along with Redemptions Fullness of Time right :)

So you shouldn't hesitate to get Second Life Syndrome. Like Juergen said before this release is even better than their first album IMO. I can't stop listening to it! :Spin:

Got my copy today at last ! I stay faithful to what I initially : this is the album of the year

    Top 5 til now :
    Riverside - Second Life Syndrome
    Shadow Gallery - Room V
    Beyond Twilight - Section X
    Porcupine Tree - Deadwing
Redemption - The Fullness Of Time

I can't help but the SLS album has a serious hook on me. I know few bands able to serve a 3 min song which can take the tears out of you before you go into a 15 min epic and this in an easily way…*hats off to this guys from Poland (Vodka is definitely NOT the only good thing coming from Poland)

Now Playing : Riverside - Conceiving You

Man, their new album is really great... very brooding and murky at times...

Excellent album, I agree with everyone who's saying it imrpoves upon the debut, they were able to get heavier and more experimental with equal success. Only weak point for me would be that Mariusz just sounds silly screaming "I'm so happy when they eff you!" (not self-censored, that's actually how it's sung) :)
